Audi RS Transfer Box Rebuild Service

This is a rebuild service for a worn/noisy transfer box on an Audi RS model. The one pictured is from an RS3 8V. This service is to strip and clean the transfer case and replace all of the bearings and seals. This is only possible if the crown wheel teeth have no damage. A simple way to check this is to remove the 6 x 13mm bolts from the rear output and prize off the cover. Any damage to either of the crown wheels render the unit scrap. i Have added an image saying "Dead" if you are not sure what to look for. 
The cost to replace all of the bearings and seals is £895. If the front wheel drive shaft is damaged from seized bearings it is available at £275 extra.
